Medical Needs, Accessibility & Off-Grid Reality
Deeply Rooted Church is a rustic, off-grid space. We want all guests, especially those with medical issues or mobility needs, to feel informed and safe. Knowing what is available will help you prepare.
We do not have licensed medical professionals on site. We can provide basic first aid and call 911 in emergencies, but your medical care and equipment are your responsibility.
Medical Equipment & Power
Our land uses a limited solar system. Electricity can be unreliable due to weather and seasonal changes.
Power access is limited and may not support devices needing constant electricity.
If you use a CPAP, oxygen concentrator, or mobility scooter, please bring battery backups or alternative solutions.
Consult your medical provider to see if an off-grid weekend is safe for you.
If you have questions about power limits, please reach out — we’re here to help.
Accessibility & Terrain
We aim to make our gatherings as accessible as possible given the land’s natural limits.
There is a ramp into the lodge for easier access indoors.
Paths are uneven, muddy, and forested, which can be tough for wheelchairs and walkers.
If reaching the main ritual circle is hard, clergy can often arrange an indoor ritual alternative with notice.
We encourage guests with mobility issues or safety concerns to stay indoors.
Everyone deserves access to community. We will do our best to support you.
Medication Guidelines
To keep our community safe:
All medications must stay in their original labeled containers.
All substances must be legal; illicit drugs are not allowed on Deeply Rooted property.
Store medications securely and out of reach of children and animals.
Keep insulin and temperature-sensitive meds in a personal cooler or portable fridge; we do not provide refrigeration.
Not following these guidelines may result in being asked to leave for safety reasons.
First Aid & Emergencies
We have a first aid kit for minor injuries.
For serious medical emergencies, we will call 911.
The nearest hospitals are about 25–35 miles away.
Guests with life-threatening conditions (like allergies or asthma) must bring their own rescue medications, such as EpiPens or inhalers.
Your preparedness keeps you and our community safe.
