Sabbat Observances
Our clergy lead rituals for all eight Sabbats of the Pagan Wheel of the Year, each listed in our event directory. These gatherings honor the turning seasons, the land beneath us, and the traditions our community carries forward.
If you need special accommodations — such as an indoor ritual, accessibility-centered participation, or a youth-friendly ceremony — contact the clergy ahead of time so we can prepare a space that meets your needs.
Sabbat rituals are always free to attend; however, weekend stays, feasts, and additional activities may include a small fee.

Specialty Retreats
Throughout the year, our clergy offer themed retreats that dive deeper into specific aspects of Pagan practice and community life.
Some weekends are free to attend, while others include a small fee to help cover supplies, food, and shared expenses. Retreats may focus on celebrating the Divine Feminine, honoring the Sacred Masculine, exploring Full Moon rites (Esbats), or gathering for creative and spiritual renewal.
If a particular retreat speaks to you, reach out to learn more — we’re always excited to welcome new participants into these immersive experiences.

Pagan Clergy Services
Deeply Rooted is guided by a team of ordained Pagan clergy and an expanding group of clergy-in-training.
Our work is to support both newcomers and long-time practitioners in their personal, evolving paths — no matter the pantheon, tradition, or level of experience.
We listen, guide, and offer direction only when consent is given, creating space for you to shape your own spiritual journey.
Some clergy also offer divination, including tarot and rune readings, with donations to the church welcomed when financially possible.
If you feel called to deepen your practice or explore new aspects of your path, our clergy are here to walk with you.

Handfastings
Handfastings are Pagan marriage ceremonies that honor partnership, intention, and the weaving together of two or more paths.
We encourage couples to plan at least a year in advance so our clergy can help create a meaningful and well-prepared ritual.
Handfastings may take place on the land at Deeply Rooted or at another venue of your choosing.
Traditionally, handfastings are made “for a year and a day,” however many couples choose longer commitments, and our clergy can tailor the rite to reflect the vows you wish to make.
A donation toward supplies and clergy travel is appreciated to help cover the costs involved.
If you feel called to celebrate your union through a handfasting, reach out and let us help bring your vision forward.

Wiccanings & Naming Rites
A Wiccaning is a naming ceremony traditionally performed after a baby’s first winter, rooted in Norse custom and embraced across many modern Pagan traditions.
It is a gentle rite of introduction, welcoming a child into the wider spiritual community and honoring the family’s path.
Our clergy are also able to create and lead other rites of passage that reflect your family’s tradition, values, and cultural background.
To ensure the ceremony aligns with your expectations, please arrange a meeting with a member of our clergy so we can understand your wishes and craft a meaningful experience together.

End of Life Services
Deeply Rooted clergy provide support during the final stages of life and the transitions that follow.
These services may include rituals at home, in hospice, or in hospital settings, as well as ceremonies held on our land.
Paid members may choose to have their ashes spread in our Ancestral Shrine, and lifetime members are eligible for a plot in our developing green burial cemetery.
We also maintain a pet cemetery for those who wish to honor the passing of their animal companions.
Every end-of-life need is unique. Please contact a member of our clergy to discuss the arrangements, rites, or support that would best serve you and your loved ones.
Fees may apply depending on your specific needs and the resources involved.
